The Current Meta and Top Heroes to Play This Week!

Hard Carry: Ranged carries, that can connect to fights early, and if the hero can buy Gleipnir, that’s a big plus. Luna, Windranger, Lina, Nature’s Prophet, Shadow Fiend, Alchemist, Monkey King are great heroes at the moment.

Midlane: Early rotaters, that deal magic damage but can scale into the later stages of the game are currently in meta: Puck, Queen of Pain, right-click Invoker, Sniper, Storm.

Offlane: Big tanky heroes with AoE control that enjoy bracers, and can fight early are currently in meta. Centaur, Sand King, Kunkka, Beastmaster, Underlord.

Soft Support: Lane dominating, saves or roaming heroes are currently in meta. Lane dominators such as Tinker and Ringmaster are great. Saves on Ringmaster and Shadow Demon are great. And roamers such as Nyx, Bounty and Marci are great.

Hard Support: Heals.. heals.. heals..! Ringmaster, Treant, Omniknight, Abaddon, Tinker and of course Naga which is great at stacking, lane domination and with an amazing ult.

Gameplay Tip of the Week
Towers do not have full vision during night time but it has full attack range, so if you stand just on the edge of it's range (hold Alt to see it!) you can check if the enemy has a ward nearby. This is especially useful during the night before the bounty runes spawn.

Did you know?
In DotA 1 you would be sheeped for a really short time, if you attacked a full HP structure or ally.
